If you give us your email address, we use it only to send you:
Occasional and periodic updates as the case may be — including new recipes, festival reminders (Ganesh Chaturthi, Sankashti Chaturthi dates), Modak Club announcements, and significant site updates. We do not send daily emails. We do not send promotional emails on behalf of third parties.
Email addresses are stored securely on our Hostinger web server in a protected file. They are not shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party. We do not use third-party email marketing platforms (no Mailchimp, no Klaviyo, no similar services) at this time.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by emailing hello@modakworld.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. We will remove your email address within 7 days. You can also request to know what data we hold about you (it will be your email address) or request deletion — same email address, same 7-day commitment.
ModakWorld does not use tracking cookies. The site may use a minimal session cookie for standard website functionality, but we do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking technology.

ModakWorld is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect email addresses from children. If you believe a child has submitted their email to us, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
